Schedules

Schedules are timed triggers that automatically run a saved query on a specific Google Sheets. To create a schedule, you first need to save a valid query and specify which sheet you need to load the query on when the time comes. Schedules can only be created within the extension/addon. However, once they are created, they can be viewed and edited in via the Admin Dashboard. When editing via the Admin Dashboard, any detail about the schedule can be edited, except for the target Google Sheet information.

When a schedule is created, it is not automatically enabled by default. To ensure your schedule runs, you need to toggle the schedule switch on after you finish creating it.

Schedules can be switched off at any time by a user with the right permissions. Sometimes, schedules could be turned off automatically by Castodia as a result of repeated failed runs. If this happens, you will receive an email notifying you of any schedules that were automatically turned off by our system.
