Queries

Queries are a subset of data from a data source. They indicate the data rows that a user needs to import into Google Sheets. Queries can be created via SQL statements for database sources or via the UI for API or SaaS sources.

Workspace members with the right permission can create, edit, delete, and view queries. Queries created by one user can be reused by another user. When viewing or editing queries, users can see either the underlying SQL statement for the query or the tables/objects selected via the query UI.
